The Challenge

RYOUN needed a brand identity that could communicate premium quality, natural ingredients, and a modern sensibility. The skincare market is saturated — so the brand needed to feel distinct without being loud.

The challenge was creating a visual system that balanced elegance with approachability — premium enough to justify the price point, but warm enough to build emotional connection.

The Approach

Starting with brand strategy, I defined RYOUN's positioning as a thoughtful skincare brand that values simplicity and authenticity. The visual direction emerged from research into natural textures, Japanese minimalism, and luxury packaging design.

The identity system was built around restraint — clean typography, a muted but warm color palette, and generous whitespace that lets the product photography breathe.

The Result

A cohesive brand identity system that spans packaging, web presence, social media, and print materials. RYOUN now has a visual language that's instantly recognizable and scalable across touchpoints.
